Apparently, a film is going to floors in the combination of Ram Charan and director Sukumar but there are rumors making rounds that Cherry will be playing a mute man in this flick. This news disappointed many mass fans. But shattering all these doubts, Ram Charan clarified on these.
He made it clear that this film is not in mode of psychological thriller Nenokkadine or foreign based film like Nannaku Premato or has a typical characterization like Arya 2. He further said that this film will be a normal film that will cater to all sections of audience and easily understood. He urged his fans not to believe any rumors.
After failures of Govindudu and Bruce Lee, Ram Charan is teaming up with Surender Reddy for Dhruva. This is obviously remake of Tamil superhit Tani Oruvan. The recently released teaser garnered good response from audience.
This film is managing to stay on headlines one way or the other. The latest buzz is that there are chances that power star Pawan Kalyan may be the chief guest for the audio of this film scheduled on 20th of next month. Busy with the shoot of Katamrayudu, reports are that he expressed willingness to grace the occasion. But there is no clarity on Charan's side. Slated for December 2nd release, Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead and dream boy of yesteryears Arivind Swamy is playing antagonist.
Chiru recently commenced the shoot of his 150th film obviously. The shooting is taking place in Singappaguda village of Chevella mandal. There some village shots are being canned on mega star and some junior artistes. There was flow of people visiting the shooting spots after the news spread about the film making. Reports are that the shoot will continue in the village for 4 more days. Apparently, earlier it was announced that the film will be titled Kattilantodu.
But, in a recent chitchat with fans, Ram Charan said that the title Kattilantodu has not been finalized yet. Now, latest info is confirming that. If reports are to be believed, Chiru is thinking about changing the title of the film. He was discussing with the director to change the name as the title reminds other titles like Speedunnodu and Sarainodu. The unit is mulling over Khaid Number 150 on the lines of Khaidi Number 786, which was one of the landmark films in Chiru's career. Therefore, with the sentiment also going in its favor, the unit is working on this title reportedly.
There are a number of heroes from the family of megastar Chiranjeevi, and many of the are successful also. Apart from Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan, there are heroes from Allu family, a nephew of Chiru and children of his brother Nagababu. Most of them have been very successful. Now, news is that another hero from the clan is going to make debut very soon.
It is also reported that Chiru himself is very keen on introducing him. He is none other then his younger son-in-law Kalyan and Chiranjeevi is preparing ground to launch this new hero. Chiranjeevi reportedly suggested the wannabe hero to attend acting classed and also pointed some changes in physique and look. If everything goes as planned, grapevine is that Kalyan will be announced as hero in the coming months.
Megastar's new film has rolled on. The prestigious 150th film has everything ready but for the heroine. Since this is a very prestigious, the makers are taking extra care in each and every aspect. This remake of Tamil film Katti, is being directed by VV Vinayak and produced by none other than Chiranjeevi's doting son Ram Charan. While senior heroines like Nayantara and Anushka were approached, they avoided the film citing being busy. While Cherry was dillydallying over the heroine selection, Deepika Padukone was approached but she reportedly demanded 10 crore, which the makers thought was too much and avoided her.
Now, reports are rife that the unit is trying to cast popular model and actress Nargis Fakhri as the heroine. The Rockstar heroine is also in her 30s and will suit better with Chiru. Her no-qualm approach regarding glamour show is also helping the cause. Remember the hot scenes she did with Emran Hashmi in Azhar. Makers might be of the opinion that elder heroines like Sameera Reddy and Karishma Kotak suit better beside Chiranjeevi. Will this name be final or another name on the cards, time will decide.
Mumbai damsel was last in news for all the hot reasons after agreeing for a smooch in a film. Now, she has also okayed to do an item song, which will be her first. If reports are to be believed, she will be doing an item song for Ram Charan in his upcoming flick Dhruva. After staring her career with Lakshmi Kalyanam, she progressed to the top position choosing her roles very carefully.
Though she was very hesitant throughout her career to do an item song, she is now doing it with Cherry in the Tani Oruvan remake directed by Surender Reddy. The makers gone over several names for the proposed item song and felt that Kajal will provide that extra zip for the film and approached her and she agreed. If this really happens, the craze for films will increase for the film surely.
Nowadays, a hero and a director are fixed in their minds to achieve the same target. They are none other than Cherry and Surender Reddy and the target is a super grand hit. Faced with utter flops with their previous flicks, these two are hell bent to correct themselves and get into winning ways again. Cherry is facing a bit crunchier situation as his last film Bruce Lee was a disaster and his previous to that Govindudu Andari Vaadele was just average. He badly needs a hit to get into reckoning once again.
On the other hand, Surender Reddy is facing a similar situation after Kick-2. Though his earlier film Race Gurram was a bumper hit, Kick-2 has damaged his image so much that he also needs a superhit to cement his place once again. It seems they have chosen the remake of Tani Oruvan as a safe bet since it has collected 100 crores in Tamil and stands as one of the biggest blockbusters there or wanted to try something new. Anyhow, time will tell whether these two can get successful in their quest for glory this time.
After entering into the field with Emaindi Ee Vela that was a decent hit, Sampat Nandi got noticed through Racha where he showed Ram Charan in a stylish way and got a name for himself. He was apparently the first choice for Gabbar Singh-2, though he left the film mid way and did Bengal Tiger with Raviteja and scored a hit.
Now, strong gossip is that he is going to do a film with Nithin. He already reportedly got consent from Nithin to the story he narrated. Nitin is presently getting ready with A..Aaa after which he will do a film with Vijay Konda who did Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde. Sampat's film will star after completing this film by December.
Mega Star Chiranjeevi's Gang Leader released on May 9th in 1991. This completed 25 years just now. Speaking on the occasion, Chiru revealed his desire. He said that a remake of Gang Leader can be made with Ram Charan. Along with this the most famous dialogue of the film "cheyyi chusava enta rough ga undo..rough aadinchesta," was dubshmashed by Ram Charan and uploaded into youtube. This video has gone viral. It turned into an interesting discussion among film circles as to who will handle the film if at all a remake happens.
Meanwhile, heroine of Gang Leader, Vijayashanthi said "my role in the film is on par with the heroine. Chiranjeevi is one of the main reasons for my character to come out so well. He came to know that my film Kartavyam won national award while we were shooting in a hilly area in Bhadrachalam for a song. He immediately arranged a huge party in the hotel that evening. Though we both acted in many films, Gang Leader has a special place."
Tani Oruvan was a superhit Tamil film that released last year starring Jayam Ravi and Nayantara. This film is getting ready for remakes in many languages. Apparently, Ram Charan is doing the Telugu version of this. When questioned about the possibility of sequel to this flick, director Mohan Raja said that the sequel will be the 25th film of Jayam Ravi. Now, he is busy making a film with Siva Kartikeyan.
On the other hand, Jayam Ravi is getting ready for the sequel of Mirudas after finishing Bhogas. This means there is still some time for Tani Oruvan-2 to start. This film recently won the prestigious Nagireddy award and is being shown in many international film festivals. The possibility of sequel in Telugu apparently depends on the fate of the first part.
