Sahasam Swasaga Saagipo Review

E Maya Chesave in the combination of Gautam Menon, AR Rehman and Naga Chaitanya was a superhit, initially in Chaitu's career. Now, the combo comes again as Sahasam Swasaga Saagipo. Pairing with Malyalam heroine Manjima Mohan, this film is produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy on Dwaraka Creations. Touted as romantic thriller, this film released on Friday with heavy expectations riding on it as it is coming after Premam from Naga Chaitanya. Let us see how far this film managed to reach expectations.

Story:

Rajinikanth (Chaitu) just finishes his engineering and is enjoying with his friends while doing MBA. He falls for his sister's friend Leela (Manjima Mohan) who stays with them to do her studies. They both go on a road trip along with friends to watch sunrise in Kanyakumari. Love blossoms between them. But, they were hit by a lorry in return. Rajinikanth expresses his love to her thinking he may not do so if he dies. He comes to know from the hospital that he was admitted by Leela. Three days later, Leela calls him and tells that it was not an accident and that her family is in trouble. Rajinikanth goes on a mission to save his lover and her family. There, in an attack from the family Leela's family and Rajinikanth's friend get killed. The remainder of the story is why are the villains after Leela and why are police supporting them.

Attractions:

Nagachaitanya did his best as the action hero. Manjima is okay overall with her performance. AR Rehman managed to take the film to next level with his music. Cinematography and editing are good. Gautam managed to make a film that will be liked by all sections of audience. He proved once again that he is a class apart. Satish Krishnan who acted as Chaitu's friend was good in performance as well as dances.

Disappointments:

The biggest minus is that this film has no strong villain. The whole second half is filled with action without any entertainment leaving a bit bored. Successive songs in the first half make it a bit uneasy. Cinema revolves around only 3 characters mostly.

It looks like Chaitu is on a success route with another one after Premam.
